Serving with Purpose Since 2010
Purpose of Life Home Health Care Agency has been serving individuals and families since 2010. Our agency was founded on the belief that every person deserves care, respect, dignity, and the opportunity to live as independently as possible.
Our mission is to support Pennsylvanians in achieving greater independence, choice, and opportunity in their daily lives. We are committed to providing services and supports that are accessible, flexible, innovative, and person-centered.
Through our home care and ODP services, we support individuals with disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to help each person receive the care and assistance they need while honoring their choices, goals, and personal preferences.
Our Commitment
At Purpose of Life, caregiving is personal. We are dedicated to helping clients reach their goals, live with dignity, and receive care that respects who they are.
Since 2010, our commitment has remained the same: to provide compassionate care, dependable support, and person-centered services that help individuals live as safely and independently as possible.

Our Mission
The mission of Purpose of Life Home Health Care Agency is to provide compassionate, dependable, and person-centered support to individuals and families.
We believe services should be built around the individual. Each person has their own needs, strengths, goals, and dreams. Our role is to help provide the support needed for clients to live safely, participate in their communities, and experience greater independence.
Our Vision
Our vision is to continually improve a system of services and supports that is accessible, effective, flexible, and centered on the person receiving care.
We believe individuals should have more control over their services, more opportunities to participate fully in their communities, and the support needed to live meaningful everyday lives.
Our Values
Our values are built on the goals, expectations, and aspirations of people with disabilities and their families. We are guided by the principles of Everyday Lives: Values in Action.
Purpose of Life promotes the belief that, with the support of family, friends, caregivers, and community, people with disabilities can and should have a voice in how they live their lives.
We value:
These values guide every decision made by, for, and about the individuals we serve.

ODP Services and Person-Centered Support
Purpose of Life provides services for individuals supported through the Office of Developmental Programs, including individuals with intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities.
Our ODP services are designed to support each person’s everyday life. We focus on what is important to the individual, what support they need, and how we can help them reach both short-term and long-term goals.
We also provide ODP Employment Specialist services to support individuals who want to explore, obtain, and maintain employment. Our Employment Specialist services are focused on helping individuals build job skills, prepare for work opportunities, and receive support that encourages independence, confidence, and success in the workplace.
